For those of you have recently bought or rented a house in Weston, MA, I want to let you know about one of the town’s best summer perks - the Concerts on the Town Green. Each Wednesday night from 7 – 8:30 p.m., various bands play on the Town Green, and Weston residents and visitors alike bring picnics, blankets, chairs, frisbees and dogs (to name just a few) to enjoy the summer night. Beginning at 10 am. this Saturday, June 16, 2012, Land’s Sake, a public  farm located at 90 Wellesley Street in Weston, MA, will hold its Strawberry Day and invites people to “bring your own picnic and enjoy a relaxing day at the farm with family and friends. We’re having a smaller, old-fashioned event this year to thank YOU, our members and supporters, for a successful Growing the Roots campaign! The first Thanksgiving Day Tradition in Weston, MA is the annual Pancake Breakfast.  Hosted by the Class of 2012, the Pancake Breakfast will take place from 7-9 a.m. at the Weston High School, 444 Wellesley Street.   (more…)

This Saturday, October 15, Weston High School will host its sixth annual Pumpkin Festival from 1- 5 p.m. on the Town Green.  This is the high school’s primary fundraiser andcommunity event of the year, and donations go to Camp Sunshine, a retreat for kids with life-threatening illnesses and their families.
