Weston MA Homes Sold January 1 – 15, 2013
This is the first Weston, MA Homes Sold of the year post – woo hoo! We are heading into a new year filled with new numbers, new results and new outlooks on home sales, trends and the like. The good news is that the first two weeks of 2013 produced a higher number of sold properties (4 vs. 2 in 2012) as well as a higher market volume ($4,956,500 vs. $3,775,000 in 2012). But our average sale price and median price number were down this year from last. Specifically, our 2013 median price was $ 1,208,750 while that of 2012 was $1,887,500. Similarly our 2013 average sale price was $1,239,125 vs. $1,887,500 in 2012.
It’s a bit hard to draw conclusions from our year-to-date numbers as reflected above given that we are only two weeks into the New Year plus these sold numbers are a reflection of the past year’s performances and not current activity. That being said our number of sold properties and market volume numbers are up thus far in the year; let’s hope they continue this way.
There weren’t any land sales in the first two weeks of January 2013.
