My family has been participating in this voluntary program to purchase our energy from renewable sources for a year.  Ten percent of our energy is from renewable sources which has only increased our monthly bill by the cost of one proverbial latte at Starbucks.

New Principal Announced at Wellesley Middle School

Superintendent Bella Wong announced on Friday that current WMS English department head Mark Ito has accepted the position of WMS Principal, beginning this summer. Mark is in his eighth year of teaching at the Middle School, and during that time “has earned the deep respect of the school community for his intelligence, thoughtfulness and leadership.”

My son was fortunate enough to have Mr. Ito for 8th Grade English in 2006. Mr. Ito had the challenging task of teaching poetry which the kids actually enjoyed. My congratulations to Mr. Ito – what great news for Wellesley.

Cheaper than painting, it could be quickly and easily sprayed on in new construction….”  It is “also known as an acoustic ceiling…as it was the standard for bedroom and residential hallways ceilings for its noise reduction qualities.” Read the rest of this entry »

Weston, MA Prom is a Safe and Happy Event

Weston’s Juniors pulled off a great night.  A big thank you to all the families who made the event extra special with pre and post prom events.  The weather was spectacular.  Our biggest challenge was reducing the shadows and glare on this picture perfect evening.  Take a look at some pictures.
